Waste
We analyze liquid and solid waste in order to determine the concentration of any contaminants, the operation monitoring of sewage treatment plants, and ultimately protect the environment.
Routine analyses in waste streams include:
- pH, conductivity, turbidity, alkalinity
- Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD)
- Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Total Suspended Solids (TSS)
- Total Organic Carbon (TOC), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC)
- Total oil content
- Leaching tests of heavy metals and other contaminants
- Total Phosphorus (TP), total Nitrogen (TN)
- Anions-Cations (π.χ. PO43-, ΝΟ3–, ΝΟ2–, SO42-, CN–, F–, ΝΗ4+)
- Organic Solvents
- Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs), Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs)
- Phenols
- Fats and oils
- Heavy metals (Cr3+, Cr6+, Hg, Cd, As, Cu, etc)
- Microbiological parameters as appropriate
- Pesticide residues
